Media Drive - not even 9000 diggs from US!!??
There's a thread on media coverage which also states that we can get a lot of coverage amongst people via Digg.com.
What is digg and how it works- (wikipedia)
Readers can view all of the stories that have been submitted by fellow users in the "digg/News/Upcoming" section of the site. Once a story has received enough "diggs", it appears on Digg's front page. Should the story not receive enough diggs, or if enough users report a problem with the submission, the story will remain in the "digg all" area, where it may eventually be removed.
The highest rated digg in last 7 days (with 8632 hits / diggs) is that of a iphone. Our issue could not even beat the new iphone release. Immigrationvoice has about 14893 members, 7939 active members. If each member does a digg for himself and other one for spouse, we should have atleast 14000 digg to keep our write ups LIVE, in the minds of all the people visiting this page.

And all you thought I did was shoot Dphoto members!
Most of these were shot using the new 75-300 DO that Bob let me test out. (Thanks again Bob!) I'm impressed with the lens. I may be adding it to the arsenal as a good travel lens.
Anyways, here are my pics of our gracious model Julie:

It was great meeting all of you that traveled to Indy in such a short, spontaneous get together.

Are you married to a USC? If so, you have nothing to worry about. Do not travel until your GC is approved as AP is not 100% safe for people that overstayed.

It's very painful to deal with these guys at times.
I also tried asking a finance broker about this and never heard back...
Have you tried apporaching another bank or some broker ?
(I was intrested to know if the can do a intrest only loan for 125% of current value...I would think no.....but perhaps no one has all the details ironed out yet)
Given a Chance will never deal with WF.. Horrible customer support.. and have bunch of jokers working for them..

She has the F1 stamped on the passport which is valid until Dec 2009 I think. She is finishing much before that. Does it mean she will not be able to reenter on either F1 visa or the EAD?

I got a family based green card (through my father - F1 family based category).
My father lives in east coast.
When I entered US on immigrant visa at that time my father was in India for one month visit.
Before my father come to US I moved westcoast for Job.
So basically after getting GC I have not stayed with my father even for a single day.
Now I am planning to go to east cost to visit my father and from there we are planning to visit canada.
My questions:
1. Is there any requirement that after entering on immigrant visa(GC) I have to stay with my father (even for few days)?
2. For my Canada visit: What things I need to keep with me (except GC and Passport) while entering US (from canada)?

Hi. I am currently here in the US applying for AOS from a B2 to F1 visa. I sent my application on the 26th April with USPS Express mail request return reciept. My current 1 94 expired on April 28th. My return receipt from USPS says that my item was signed for on April 28th leaving me still in status but when I received my I 797 C it says that the receipt date is April 29th. I am very worried and I am wondering if this is something I should call their customer services department about. I do not want my application denied simply because I may seem not to be in status. Please help, I am very worried.
As long as you have a copy of the delivery receipt you are good and not out of status.

Hi,
Can the work experience without H1B be countable when you apply for I140 (EB2, BS + 5yrs ) ?
I kept my part time job about 3 yrs while I was working as a full timer at other companies. But the problem is I was getting paid but didn't file H1B as a part timer. I know that I should have filed for H1B but I just had a H1B as a full timer with my other company. If I can count my part time work experience ( 3yrs part time / 2 = 1.5 yrs as full time) along with my full time experience (3.7 yrs), It exceeds 5 yrs of related work experience that requires for EB2.

I've seen people getting the GC Approvals even though their PD is not current. But close to current published dates.
Good Luck to you and Keep your fingers crossed. Technically you are not in, but still you may be in. You never know with USCIS.

it took 45 days for the cheques to be encashed for the EAD application when I sent it to the Lockbox facility. I beleive they receive the mails in one location and forward it to the appropriate center.
